We are offocially residents of Boulder, Colorado. God provided us with a beatiful townhome with an even more beautiful view! We are just three blocks away from open space that you can hike up right to the flatirons. We have learned that "open space" is what the rest of us call the countryside and the "flatirons" are the amazing rock formations jutting up out of the foothills of the rockies. We are in awe of God's creation and hope we never take for granted the blessing of living in such beauty.
Kris and I don't want to discount the beauty we grew up in though....there is still nothing like a huge blue sky over a golden wheatfield in North Dakota (especially when you are viewing it from atop a horse)....and you can't beat the sun setting over the lake as you throw one more cast on a peaceful Nebraska lake.
