Kris and I have missed our group dates with our friends in Lincoln. They are some of our fondest memories. So instead of think back we decided to make it happen.
Brandon and Justina were the first couple to get excited about the idea...
but many friends, including Kent and Mindy Hurd joined right in.
Peter and Jan joined us while being half way through her third pregnancy, such a cute pregnant mama.
Leo and Jolie, also our sweet pregnant mama with baby #2 on the way, were enthusiastic newcomers to the group date night.
Josh and Julie Luse were Kris and my teammates for the festivities of the night. We had a blast together.
And last but not least, Jeff and Tara Kautz were part of the winning team for the night.
The guys planned a game they called, "the Amazing Race" which consisted of challenges such as...get a picture with a street preformer serenading you, find someone who has sang the national anthem at a public event, find someone with five children (which is rather hard in Boulder). We met back at Starbucks on Pearl Street. To top off the end of the evening each guy had made a video just for their girl telling them why they loved and adored them. And no, I am not putting that video on my blog...but it was sweet!
