After a very busy week, or three... Kris took a day off and we headed to the mountains.
We headed up to Nederland...
then we drove through the mountains to Steamboat. We would recommend that drive to anyone. We talked about the beautiful creation around us...........The kids and I climbed some rocks, we ate some ice cream, Kris gave the kids airplane rides, Taylor tried to catch some fish
Kris and I realized all over again just how special our children are to us. Taking a day to be together is a blessing and we didn't take it for granted.

CONGRATS on finishing your 10k! That is a HUGE accomplishment and I am so proud of you! Any more races planned in the near future?!?

we've never met but my folks were college friends with Kris' folks.. and Kris and I have known each other for some time! I just stumbled across your blog and was excited and thrilled to see what a beautiful family you both have.
