Let me be honest and say, I usually don't get into "Women's" books. I try...I start a new book that has been recommended to me with the best intentions but usually only make it through the first couple chapters and then head back to a good biography. I like a book with depth and, to me, many "women's" books seem to lack it.
A couple years ago, my friend gave me this book by Gail MacDonald and because of its front cover I put it aside...until I realized WHO Gail MacDonald was. Her husband, Gordon MacDonald has written two of my favorite books, Ordering Your Private World, and A Resilient Life. So thats when I decided to give it a try. I am only halfway through and it is definitely the best women's leadership book I have read to date.
So for any women like me that are leary of "fluffy" feminine books, this ones for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am.
