I love house church

There are moments in the past 3 years when I would not be able to say that. This lifestyle of "house" church is intimate, close, almost claustirphobic sometimes. On the other side, what I love about it IS the intimacy, being pushed to know and care about people that in a different church situation I may never talk to twice. Our house church is made up of college students, single adults, families with grown children, and us, a family with small kids. What binds us is our desire to know God better and learning to do that together. It truly is a beautiful way to do church...not easy, but beautiful.

These are pictures from our Christmas party. It was one of many great get togethers...this weeks is a Super Bowl party!

I have a link to your blog on my counting my pennies blog--I think I got it from over on FB Planter Wives maybe? Anyway--I didn't realize you are a house church! That's awesome! We are too. Very cool. Maybe we can chat sometimes. Actually, someone else recently wrote me and is another planter house church wife. Maybe we need our own blog/FB group! : )
