Well, since you asked...
I am in the midst of reading two great books, "Surprised By Joy" by C.S. Lewis, and "The Hobbit" by Tolkien. One I read every night (and when I walk in my room for something and get sidetracked and read for a few quick minutes) and the other I keep in my purse (learned that from a great friend, Thanks Cristine!).
So tell me, have you read these books and if so what did you think? I am always up for a good book chat.

Those both sound fabulous. I'm reading Sinner by Ted Deker...very good. I've also been reading A Resilient Life by McDonald. Have been reading that for quite some time...so good...I'm just not very fast at reading non-fiction.
I LOVE A Resilient Life! Tell me your thoughts on that book...
Ditto on the Resilient Life!
I'm reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan. Very good! I'm in the process of developing a new strategy for reading. There are so many great reads and so little time :)
ok, what is the strategy?
Hee, Hee! Don't you love how I pulled you in on that one... I knew you'd want to know the strategy :)
OK, so this is not rocket science but it has helped me to get in some more reading time and it's called the DVR. I know it's sad (but true) after the kiddos get tucked in for the night I love to just sit and dull my mind with whatever show I'm "into" at the moment. But then I start seeing all these books piling up b/c we both know there's no time during the day to read!
So... I've decided to just save my favorite shows, via DVR, until Friday or Saturday night and watch them all at once. This gives me the weeknights to get some serious reading done.
Simple but effective.
I like it!!!! We can do the same thing even though we don't have cable because we watch everything on Hulu.com or netflix.com so saving for just one or two nights is easy. Good thinkin' sis!
