Kinda sounds like I'm in battle and on the losing side, huh?! Well, actually my man and I are heading to the mountains for 7 full days of retreat, rest, silence, counsel, and other things that sound wonderful (and a little scary).
We are going to http://www.sonscape.org/ and when we get there the the phone goes off, the computer goes off and there are no tvs, ahhhhh. Now that is relaxing! So you can pray for us as we talk, pray, and take some rest. We want God to move us, or keep us still. His choice!

just wanted to say, thank you. i read your guest post on sara's blog and loved hearing about what works for you in your relationship. i can identify with intentional communication. and i agree, selfishness is definitely a toxic element to a lovely relationship
